We're sorry we missed you!

If we left a notice on your door with a request for you to contact us, please do so as soon as possible. This request for contact is very important to us and to you as well!

There are many reasons why one of our technicians may have left a notice on your door. We perform private sewer service locates and post-bore inspections of private sewer service lines for different utility companies. If you received one of these notices from ACS Sewer & Irrigation Services, a utility contractor hired us to locate private sewer service lines in your area in regards to underground work that is going to be performed. Sometimes the recipients of our notices have already been notified of the work that is about to happen in the area, and other times our notice on your door is the first you are hearing about it. Either way, please do not be alarmed. Utility locates and underground work happen all the time. Our job is to ensure that your sewer service line is located properly before the underground work begins, and to inspect the sewer service line after the work is finished to verify it hasn't been damaged.

If we left one of these notices on your door, it may have been for one of the following reasons:

  • We were unable to locate an access for your sewer service line (see picture below for an example of an access point or clean-out).

  • We were unable to physically access your sewer service line due to the access being behind a locked gate.

  • We have exhausted all other "from the street" options.

Fortunately for you, ACS Sewer & Irrigation Services is good at what we do! If we need you to contact us, please do so immediately. It has been determined that your sewer service line needs located and/or inspected. Once we determine the location of your sewer service line's access point, our job typically takes less than thirty minutes. Your sewer service line's access point is usually a four inch diameter white or black PVC pipe sticking out of the ground with a cap on it. Most of the time they are near the home or building and easily accessible. Sometimes they are located in the basement or crawlspace. On occasion, there isn't an access point. In this scenario, possible access may be gained to your sewer service line through a vent pipe on the roof or by removing a toilet and entering the line that way.

Here are some of the benefits that come with the service we provide during a required locate or post-bore inspection:

  • Free sewer service line inspection. If we notice any issues with your sewer service line, you will be notified immediately.

  • Gain invaluable peace of mind by knowing the condition of your sewer service line.

  • Potentially save thousands of dollars in costly repairs due to a damaged sewer service line (see picture below for an example of a damaged sewer service line).

When ACS locates or inspects your sewer service line, you can be confident knowing that no effort was spared to locate or inspect the line properly and safely. We are committed to excellent service for you, the communities we work in, and the people we work with.
